FOOD DISTRIBUTED REPORT PUBLSHED NADFOR- 30 MARCH 2026
Hargeisa, Somaliland – 30 March 2026 – The National Disaster Preparedness and Food Reserve Authority (NADFOR) has successfully delivered emergency food assistance to 2,900 households, reaching over 21,000 individuals across Somaliland affected by drought and food insecurity.
The 2026 response operations focused on the most vulnerable populations, including internally displaced persons (IDPs), rural families, children, pregnant women, and the elderly. Each household received essential food packages containing cereals, pulses, vegetable oil, sugar, and salt, with additional nutrition support provided to children and expectant mothers where possible.
